This is the story of Vuyo, a small boy with a big dream. He is the best singer in his choir and when he grows up he wants to be a choirmaster, perhaps even to lead his own choir to participate in national competitions. But school bullies, a sickly father and a horrible monster called iRhamncwa (the monster of shame and fear) mean that Vuyo has to fight for his dreams. Together with his loyal friend, Charlie the dog, he embarks on a journey, and then the trouble begins.
